last wk's happenings
A WALK IN THE PARK

CCA was walking time!!!
dancing has taken a totally new perspective for me
it has become moer of a walk and a jog
last wk went jogging..
so this wk i'll take it slow...
we'll juz walk
went strolling around the rich and fabulous houses in Bukit Timah
houses were BIG and luxurious.
to live in them are juz FAT hopes
we went to YX's primary skool (which is now a kindergarden)
we sorta trespassed but our innocent looks juz cldn be the looks of a kidnapper rite!!!
we continued on our walk and sort of got lost...
we had to be back by 5.15 and at 5.05 we were stranded somewhere
when we got our bearings in order we sorta knew which was the direction
but we were separated by a BIG long Gao
our walk beccame more of an adventure trek
we had almost had to walk the plank across the drain...luckily got an alternate route
however there was this small drain...and a sturdy looking plank was nearby
so we took our chances...
and we are still in one piece

and to the prefects commending(u better do better!)
st andrew's cathedral was niceeee...but my seating was horrible...i juz dun get it how come the centre got sooo many seats but they juz dun let us seat der...den hav to see through the lao ya small lil tv screen.

i almost sang that to sell flags...
its my turn to sell flags!!! lyk finally...seems fun...
did SPCA b4 but that was self initiated(sooo gd rite)haha
went tiong bahru plaza to sell
soooo unfiar lor...the outram sec ppl got der first so they choop the mrt openings...so got no choice lor...take the less populated places
the grp i went wif was kinda big so to find a spot is kinda difficult...
stooooopid Xiao xuan keep stealing my customers(donators) lor...everytime go where i go!!!! hmpf..
it was such a nicee experience...
get to see many different kinds of ppl
i realise that most of the ppl that donate are the parents wif lil kids...or aunties or old folks...teens lyk us do not even donate lor....sooooooooo disappointing
are we that unfeeling and do not care bout others???? after this, i m gonna donate...i will i will...
some encounters:
- uncle ask whther is for NKF...den my fren said no...den he said he will donate...(NKF issue is tat big???)
- ex st margs girls(wearing pretty trendy stuff so i tot they wont donate but they did. to support us!!! yay)
- many lil cute kids (got one the mother gimme soooo many coins den i had to bend quite low cuz the boy veri small...he put the coins one by one...slowly....i bend for lyk super long lah...haha..but nvm lah...all for charity)
- old malay woman crossing the road then when she reaching but still on the road she suddenly stop and even put her handbag on the ground to search for coins!!!!! and there were cars zooming on the road!!! i was soooo scared!!! and in the end after searching for sooo long she donateD 5cent...errr ok)
- this woman in her 20s said she wld come back later cuz she got no small change(i tot she juz used tat as an excuse) but she came back...even though she did not hav change still she donated $2!!!!(my first and last $2 note)
raising funds are difficult...stood der for lyk 5 hrs!! legs sore lyk mad...took some breaks...niceee lime lemon drink and mac breakkie to ease the pain...sooo thankful.
